Hector E. Ramos is the owner of Performance Plus Motor Sports. He began in the automotive business in California by selling used tires out of a 20-foot container at a gas station. After a couple of years, he opened an auto mechanic shop.

Ramos ran his business for 16 years before moving to Florida. Once he settled here, his first job was as a salesman at Tires Plus, and later
he was promoted to service manager. Next Ramos worked for Good Year as a service manager, and then managed a transmission shop for almost three years.

After many years of working for several corporations Ramos wanted to run his a business the way he did in California. His goal was to develop a personal relationship with the customers, and provide quality work.

Performance Plus Motor Sports is an auto mechanic shop that offers complete engine or transmission rebuilds, body work, and regular car maintenance. They offer a two year, 24,000, or three year, 36,000, nationwide warranty, and are affiliated with NAPA Auto Car Care Center. They pick up and deliver vehicles from the home or office. If you have to wait for your car, you can do so in a clean, comfortable showroom that offers free WiFi, fresh coffee and pastries in the morning, and fresh lemonade in the afternoons.

The mechanics are ASE certified with many years experience. They have the latest equipment and offer lifetime time oil changes, and lifetime brake pad replacement. When "tires are purchased from Performance Plus, mounting, balancing, flat repairs, rotation, and speed balance are free of charge. When they have car trouble, customers can call and speak with a person, not a recording, 24/7.

What Ramos enjoys most about his business is being able to interact with his clients. He prides himself on taking good care of each customer and their cars.
